Salt has got a bad reputation for being unhealthy and causing many health problems but like many things it’s the type of salt that you consume. Salt is important in many mechanisms in our body and essential for life.
The problem is that people don’t realise the enormous differences between regular table salt and less/unrefined salt like that from the Himalayan’s.
Our regular table salt is processed, bleached and stripped of all its natural minerals. Furthermore it has anti-caking agent added to it to prevent it from clumping, making easier to pour. If eaten in excess it will cause high blood pressure and it has been linked to stomach cancers.
